Culture
We're different. Not different weird, but different good. Über-innovative. Strategic. (And self-deprecat-
ing, despite all of that strategic and innovative stuff).
Vive la Différence
From the onset, we have built an agency based on ideas and on the people that champion them; on what's coming next, where the industry is going vs. where it's already been. Our best practice centers on inventing (and then reinventing) best practice. Accordingly, we welcome challenge because it feeds innovation.
Our culture recognizes that every Peppercommer is in some way an agent of change. This entrepreneurial spirit is part of our DNA, and has allowed us to repeatedly cultivate award-winning ideas. Not to mention award-winning talent.
One more thing - and this is a biggie. We think fun is good. And when it's added to our mix it creates a certain indescibable effervescence that's sw-eeet (yeah, kind of like what Mentos do to Diet Coke). Spend a day at Peppercomm and you're bound to notice that having fun and doing great work need not be mutually exclusive. (You might also notice that the receptionist is wearing a fire hat, but that's a long story.) Fun builds a certain esprit de corps. It breaks down the walls to allow more fluid collaboration. It keeps egos at bay and ideas flowing. So while we are very serious about the work we do for our clients, we try hard not to take ourselves too seriously.
Lo and behold, our culture of productive fun was catching. So much so, that now, at the request of client yearning to replicate it, we offer stand-up comedy workshops that focus on using humor to build morale, enhance presentation skills and - yes - increase revenues.
Bottom line? You don't build a culture, you grow a culture. Ours is unwaveringly true to us and unlike any other. We don't profess to be the right agency for every client or for every employee - just for people who love to be surprised, challenged, inspired and entertained. Our process thrives on it. Our work reflects it. And our clients... well, they pretty much speak for themselves.
