Ted Birkhahn

Partner & President

I’m most passionate about my family, hockey and the best band in history: the Grateful Dead.

Ted is in charge of client services and managing agency operations for the 100+ person firm. He manages some of Peppercomm’s largest integrated accounts and spearheads the firm’s acquisition strategy. His background is diverse: He was the press secretary for the New York City Department of Buildings in Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s administration, and worked as a reporter at WOR-AM Radio and an assistant producer at 1010 WINS Radio in New York City. Ted is a member of the Counselors Academy, a professional interest section of the Public Relations Society of America, and serves on the College of Charleston’s Department of Communication Advisory Council. He is also a member of PageUp, a division of the Arthur W. Page Society and he has the pleasure of serving as a national advisory board member for Youth About Business, a nonprofit organization that provides leadership training programs for high school students in under-served communities.

Rangers rock. Bruins suck.
