Chief Marketing Officer & Partner
My role at Peppercomm is to manage clients in healthcare, B2B/industrial and consumer spaces. I also oversee Peppercomm’s innovative StandSmartTM and Comedy Experience programs. In addition, I’m an adjunct professor, teaching communications at the Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University.
Prior to joining Peppercomm, I was a senior vice president at Technology Solutions/Mindstorm Communications, primarily working on Sony and IBM. One of my most rewarding experiences was spearheading the media relations activities for the historic IBM Deep Blue chess match, the recipient of the Gold CIPRA award for the best PR campaign of 1997. I’ve also worked in the nonprofit space before moving over to the agency side, and began my career in radio.
In 2012 I was named Account Director of the Year from PR News, and was selected as a bronze winner of the 2012 Bulldog Stars of PR Awards for Agency Professional of the Year.
I graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/TV-Radio, and I was born and raised in New York City.
My greatest breakthrough moment was:
The work I did on the IBM Deep Blue chess match, since it was a significant turning point in computer history.
