Peppercomm Strengthens its Purpose with Enhanced Employee Engagement
Hires new Chief Talent Officer to elevate culture to the next level;
also brings on new head of data analytics.
Peppercomm, a leading strategic communications and marketing firm, announces that, as part of its efforts to continue evolving its employee engagement and maintain its status as an employer of choice, it has hired Tara Lilien as Chief Talent Officer.
Tara joined the agency at a crucial time in the marketplace, where Millennials will outpace other age groups by 2020. These employees are increasingly looking to work for purpose-driven organizations. As a result, Peppercomm is doubling down on its own purpose – to use its innovation and imagination to inspire people to come to know and trust the organizations it works with. After various leadership roles at other major communications firms, Tara will be instrumental in creating employee engagement and talent development programs to drive this purpose at Peppercomm. Since joining this summer, Tara has already launched new employee programs including Work How You Want to address workplace flexibility and Career Conversations as a new approach to performance management.

Recognizing the tremendous impact of data analytics in the market, Peppercomm also recently hired Laura West, PhD, as associate vice president, analytics. Laura oversees a team focused on research, insights and measurement to develop data-fueled campaigns for clients.
“We are very excited about Laura’s vision for analytics and how it will be further embedded in our accounts and across the agency,” continued Cody. “Laura’s deep experience and fresh thinking will take our analytics to an entirely new level, which is already in progress with our StandSmart tool. Along with our data scientist, Laura is helping to develop StandSmart Advance, an early warning system for societal crises.”
