Fizz + fame
Olipop is popping off with a nostalgic new campaign, “Soda Stories,” featuring celebs like Kristin Chenoweth and Joshua Jackson sharing how they fell back in love with soda, this time the better-for-you kind. Inspired by the iconic ’90s “Got Milk?” ads, the feel-good series pairs fizzy flashbacks with flavors like Grape and Doctor Goodwin. Everyday fans also get a spotlight, proving this isn’t just a celebrity sip fest: it’s a full-on fizz movement. As PepsiCo snaps up Poppi and Coca-Cola jumps into the prebiotic game, Olipop is turning up the volume with clever ads, health research, and even Amazon gift box stunts to stay ahead in the soda saga.
I do, Labubu
Labubu is saying yes to the dress, because why shouldn’t a 10-inch plush monster walk down the aisle in couture? David’s Bridal is now designing custom wedding gowns and accessories for the ferocious fashion icon, complete with fabric-matching and tiiiiny embellishments. Brides can now twin with their favorite mischievous gremlin for photos, keepsakes, or just to make Grandma ask questions. Have consumers taken it too far this time? Probably, but at least Labubu will look fang-toothingly fabulous doing it.
Nerves to newsworthy
When prepping execs for media interviews, their biggest problem usually isn’t saying “um” too much, it’s fear in a tailored suit. Media coach Lynn Smith says even the most polished CEOs are secretly sweating over whether they’ll sound smart, say the wrong thing, or tank their company’s stock. Her four-step method tackles this fear head on, from naming your inner “brain bully” (looking at you, Mildred) to dropping a power phrase like “sit down, watch this” before showtime. At the end of the day, it’s not about perfect delivery; it’s about embracing the spotlight without letting your cortisol steal the mic.
Pepper Pick
Though nothing beats a Jet2holiday (😉😉😉), we’ll be keeping our feet on the ground and in the sand this weekend by heading over to NY’s very own Long Beach.
