As an analytics associate, I provide research support to produce the best work for our clients. I work directly under our analytics VP to find information and insights through research and report building. I enjoy working on really cool data that serves as the foundation for activation ideas and new business opportunities.
Prior to Peppercomm, I was in the business of people (hospitality and customer service) where I worked as in intern in public relations and special events. Working with consumers face to face made me want to work in a space where I could be the liaison between them and the brands that they love. To fuel this idea, I joined a non-profit organization called COOP where I had the opportunity to learn more about analytics and drawing actionable insights and recommendations from data.
I genuinely appreciate the work that nonprofit organizations do. As a native New Yorker, I know how impactful it can be for kids to have access to free resources and mentorship, so I like to pay it forward with my time or skills in any way I can. In addition to COOP, I’ve also been involved with several other nonprofits, including New York Cares and several organizations in the arts & education sectors.
I earned my degree in public relations with a minor in sociology from Howard University. I came back to New York because this is where my heart is, I was just lucky enough to find work that my heart could be in too.
A sense of humor to me means:
That you didn’t die. You can just brush it off and keep rolling with the punches… OR come back with an even better joke.
