In the least busy restaurant week of the year, D’Artagnan & Peppercomm created mass excitement for cassoulet across the island of Manhattan and in select restaurants across the country.
The cassoulet immersion or #cassoulet week brought media to two events: a sold out consumer attended Cassoulet War, the fifth annual event where 30 chefs from across the country battled it out for cassoulet supremacy. The second, the Cassoulet Crawl, an intimate evening tasting of ten cassoulets made by chefs at five top New York City restaurants.
Twelve media joined us for the evening’s celebration, raving about their new found love for cassoulet. We were joined by guests including seven-Michelin-star chef, Thomas Keller and actor, gastronome and cassoulet lover, John Lithgow.
